best run of my life.

over the past few months i've created a monster playlist of my favorite songs to run to. i found out that i like a lot of acoustic/symphonic/epic stuff. stuff that allows me to be mindless. i set the playlist to random before the half marathon this past weekend and this is what it kicked out. i could go into a lot of detail but know that my ipod knew exactly what i needed at exactly the right time.

your wedding, birthday, graduation, funeral, etc.

you think the meaning behind all these special days have been stripped?
i was thinking more about it this weekend and all the random customs/practices we're so conditioned to.
they're all cookie cutter.
kids like us have no appreciation for tradition. we're all about the practical - so dumb it down for us.
i don't know if we know what a "natural response" is anymore - but that's a whole 'nother subject.

they're all just giant parties right?
the day to day interaction is worth more than those parties - and that's a whole 'nother subject too.

on a brighter l33t note, i can make my own ringtones. and i make them all fade in so people near by are not immediately startled by wham. wake me up before you go go. man, those were good times.
