who holds the world record for most runs and centuries in first class cricket?

coming from portland, a city that a majority of people won't ever visit unless they retire, i can do a good job of lying to people if they ask "how are you doing?" or "what are you up to?" i can be whatever you want for the ten minutes i talk to you. and we can wait another year to play this game again because we just forget.

my life up there is just that much different from life when i'm back in LA or Nor Cal. the culture, my close friends, my lifestyle, it contrasts like night and day. actually that's a poor comparison. it's like apple and beef. both are tasty but fill you in different ways.

---
when two people pleasers plan a date together, it has to be the most annoying night ever. nobody is enjoying themselves but trying to read into the opposite's satisfaction.

---
west virginia football won't be the same again.. i'll have to find a new team for ncaa football 2010.

---
new year resolutions are lame.
if you see something to change, why can't you just start now? like fifteen minutes ago? crowd mentality. motivate yourself. tbd life.

---
slumdog millionaire. such a well written movie. american classic. haha.

nine entertaining hours

that's how long it took us to get to reno from the bay area. snow. multiple traffic accidents and icy roads closed the freeways down for a few hours. we entertained ourselves with a game of guess what number i'm thinking of between 1 and 1000.

----
i think i can score 200 points in a game with west virginia.

----
i have been laughing at what the neti pot can do.

it's 2:30am and i'm with clownmanmad watching rush hour 3. we're at the part where chris tucker and jackie chan break up. we're grabbing donut wheel in the morning and then talking about tbdlife.

this movie is so awkward.

oh yeah.
this whole .com is getting a makeover. i've been collecting feedback since 2003.

one last note:

Creative agencies are jumping into the media game with unique plans and programs that make brands synonymous with popular culture. Could creatives become a threat to media agencies? Who comes out on top in the new media game? What you need to know about the new creativity.

In a rapidly changing media and marketing universe revolutionized by technology, it's nearly universally acknowledged that the traditional ad and media agency model is broken, and no one's sure what will replace it. However, boutique creative shops are giving traditional agencies a run for the money. While wireless, online, buzz, events, outdoor, and public relations have emerged as the hot, go-to media, the common currency of unique and memorable advertising hasn't changed: The big idea rules.

The big idea is often media-driven. But does it issue from the creative or the media agency? Which agency champions the idea and implements it? Speaking at MediaPost's OMMA East Conference and Expo, Carat North America CEO David Verklin argued for creative and media agencies to be "intellectually recombined" and said communications planning ought to be a "team endeavor."

And that brings us to the new breed of agency animal: the communications strategist. Responsible for identifying consumer touch points and for charting the way marketers should reach that target audience, this new discipline is assuming the same importance and prominence that account planning once held. And, as technology revolutionizes business as usual, the fate of media planning and media shops hangs in the balance. Is media the new creative, or merely its facilitator?

i'm not very good at sleeping

but i am good with west virginia football.
140-0 vs. army.. 55 points in the second quarter.
i decided to stay on the ground: 16 carries, 278 yards, 7 tds; threw 5-7, 4 TDs.
noel devine, what a stud: 10 kick returns for 394 yards and 3 tds.
defense was off the charts again with 18 tackles for losses, 4 picks, all run back for TDs. and my first safety ever.

yes, i still get a kick out of this vice.

-----
in five hours i head to the airport.
i have my snowboard, ds, and ipod packed.
i have my dad's laptop - i think he has a new habit of shipping me all his electronic purchases so he can save on sales tax.
a lot of people know that i'm a fall out boy fan but you need to check out their new album. metacritic here. 76. Tell me you're not impressed too. a lot of it just sticks with you. like pee in snow. there's so much of it outside right now.

yes, i know tv on the radio was the best thing that happened to music this year.

My head's in heaven
My soles are in hell
Let's meet in the purgatory of my hips and get well

i hope you join me again next time

wvu mountaineers vs. utah st. aggies.
135-0.
43 points in the second quarter.
pat white went 17/19 724 yards and 13 touchdown passes. 19 overall total touchdowns.
the defense had 7 interceptions, 18 tackles for losses including 7 sacks.
i need to get my tight end more involved.

utah st's sean setzer went 14/25 with five picks before i drilled him and injured him for the rest of the game. they had 23 rushes for 31 yards.

and my favorite stat: time of possession. aggies 15:01; mountaineers 5:03.

this was a monstrous game for wvu. confidence builder.

tonight was a good night. monday felt like saturday.
